A new discussion can be started in this servlet by typing a message and mailing it to people whom you want to include in your discussion. Your mailbox must be checked from time to time in online and at that time the MailBoard servlet that maintains all discussion must be up. You can set different configuration to different discussions provided by your same servlet. To run this servlet all you need is a mail client that supports HTML message.
